Hard Boiled Eggsplosion

Hard boiling eggs is easy, but today I got a bit sloppy. You're supposed to decide how many eggs to boil, find a pot that will fit just that many eggs (you don't want the pot to be too large), place the eggs gently in the pot, cover with just enough cold water, put the pot on the burner, and turn on the heat.  I like to salt the water heavily because the saline enters the shell and makes the insides yummy.  Once the water starts to boil, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let it hang out for 10 minutes or so. Then cool the eggs down with cold water and let your protein-deprived boyfriend eat them!

Today, I was in a hurry.  I dropped one of the eggs in the pot a little too quickly, causing the shell to crack minorly.  As a result, the egg oozed from the shell as it cooked, creating a beautiful ribbon of yellow yolk and a pale glob of white.
