I start off seeing a can of beer in our fridge and thinking, "Awesome! Now I can make beer bread!" And so I find my friend's favorite beer bread recipe, whip that up in literally 3 minutes, and pop it in the oven.
Of course, what goes well with bread? Soup! So I start making pasta e fagioli.
While the veggies and garlic are going, I glance over and see a few pretty ripe bananas chilling on my table. Light bulb moment: "Banana bread!" Wait, bad idea. I'm already making a loaf of bread. A quick google of "banana recipe" leads me to make chocolate chip banana oatmeal cookies. Or oatmeal banana chocolate chip cookies. Or banana chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Whatever you want to call them.
I'm too lazy to recopy ALL of these recipes (duh, I just spent 2 hours in the kitchen and I have to go to yoga), but go ahead and follow those links. Oh, and here are some pics to get you salivating!!
